WUSV National Breed Judge
UK KC Championship Show Judge
FCI Championship Show Judge
I judged my first show in 2006 in Bristol, UK and selected as my Best of Breed, the junior class winner Lararth Sassy who I was delighted to see go on to take her title. From my first six UK appointments, all six Best of Breed winners went on to win their Titles with the exception of one; Ch Lararth Sassy (Junior), 2CC Graloch Zirka (Open), Ch Gayvilles Zora (from Puppy), Ch Tramella Orange (from yearling), Ch Tramella Zamp (Open) and Ch Conbhairean Chico (from Puppy) a record of which I am very proud.
After attaining my WUSV Breed Specialist judging qualification in Augsburg in December 2013 I judged my first international position in Belgium in 2014, quickly followed, to my delight, with an appointment to judge with my great friend Heather Macdonald in Australia.
From then I have been blessed to have been invited to officiate in Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Ireland, Norway and Pakistan whilst also returning to the UK to judge at championship show level.
Judging gives us the opportunity to see German Shepherds being exhibited in other countries, to see the standard and progression of the breed outside of our own show scene and to meet fellow enthusiasts the world over. To date, the opportunity to travel to other places, particularly outside of the UK, to experience other countries and to see and discuss our breed with my peers there have been the most fulfilling experiences of all of my achievements in the breed and I am immensely humbled and grateful for each and every invitation received and for the pleasure I experience with each appointment.
On these pages are some of my judging engagements and any future engagements confirmed with some photographs which I hope you will enjoy.
