CINDERHOF - Jo Cathie & Leeanne Lynch
Jo - has been involved in GSD since attending her
first show in 1988, starting with a win as a junior
She learned much in the early days from the late
Janette Irvine (Millvins GSD) and still appreciates dogs
of the same strength and type that Janette strived for.
Having registered the Zollhaus prefix in the UK, Jo
later moved to Belgium to busy herself with her
dogs in Europe and a close friendship and
association with Marc and Marita Van Hout's
Kennel Santamar delivered the spoils. Training
and showing with Marc, Jo handled such outstanding
animals as VA Kaleya v Amur, VA Hagadahls Wanda
and was delighted to win a CACIB handling VA
She was the holder of VA Veneze Ellie winning 2
Siegerin titles with her in Europe along with 3, V1
wins in GBHKL in Germany; BSZS SG5 Juwika
Destroyer, Young Sieger in Belgium, the
Netherlands, the UK and Denmark in 2014;
Quattro v Steffen Haus LSH BSZS SG5, Belgian
and Dutch Young Sieger 2013, and had VA Leo vd
Zenteiche with her as a young dog for his first six shows, six wins.Jo credits Marc with many of her current ideals on showmanship, fitness and presentation.
She owns UK Ch VA Veneze Chaos Sch2 Kkl who made the journey to Australia with her having retired with a win at the 2015 UK 2Day National, and owned Leos sister Lara vd Zenteiche BSZS SG34, Cindy vom Amulree BSZS SG45, Java and Justine v Santamar, and, in partnership with Ludo Boons VA Hera v Tejada Schloss, among others during her time in Europe. Hera won an incredible 6 Siegerin titles, having attended 7 sieger events, biting successfully 7 times. She was BSZS LSH World Siegerin in 2012 and retired winning VA1 UK Siegerin in 2013 with Jo completing her bitework and handling her in the ring.
She has also handled in the top group at the Sieger Show in Germany on two occasions.
Having completed the Breed Council Examination and Assessments in 2005 and subsequently the KC examinations and requirements for championship show judging, she also fullfilled the requirements to become a WUSV breed specialist judge in Germany in 2013. She is currently working on her SV (Ausland) judging requirements.
To date Jo has judged GSD at top level in The UK, Belgium, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.
Jo is a member of the SV, the Scottish Progressive GSD Group, the GSDL of NSW and is an Honorary life member of the GSD Club of Pakistan.
Leeanne - needs no introduction to Australian enthusiasts having been one half of the very successful Fremont GSD Kennel for over 30 years. The kennel was established in 1984 and are responsible for the importation of the first european VA male to the country in Mischalands Calvin as well as Ch As du Domaine D'Alnoy, Gerry vom Schacher, Java v Santamar, Shotaan Fabius and Veneze Lutz.
They have owned or bred 6 Australian National medal winners in Gerry (2) As, Ch Fremont Too Hot To Handle, Fremont Too Darn Hot and Ch Fremont Hells Bells, as well as multiple national class winners and placegetters. Gerry himself has sired 6 individual national class winners.
Leeanne has been the secretary of Newcastle and Hunter Region GSD Club for the last 15 years and is an Honorary Life Member since 2008. She is also a member of the GSDL of NSW.
Leeanne was awarded the GSD Council of Australia Service Award in 2012 in recognition of services to the breed.
Her wealth and depth of knowledge in breeding, keeping and preparing top level GSD are undeniable and kennel Cinderhof will base much of its foundation on Fremont Hot Stuff (6 generations of Leeannes breeding) and Fremont Mortal Sin, a beautiful daughter of Ch As.
